According to Huxiu, Wu Mei Value, the hard-discount brand under Wumart, opened four stores in Shaoxing at the end of September, marking its first entry into East China. By September 28, Hema’s Super Box NB had 16 Shaoxing stores plus one large store, while Wu Mei Value had around 30 stores overall across Beijing, Yinchuan, Tianjin, and Shaoxing, with plans to optimize single-store models and manage expansion pace.
