According to Leiphone, Taobao announces overseas Singles' Day improvements across 20 markets, upgrading traffic, logistics, and operations so merchants can run domestic and overseas stores from a single shop for the event. 13 countries and regions offer free shipping, including 0-threshold free shipping in Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, and Malaysia, with overseas mid-sized items expanding to furniture and building materials and over 90% of mid-to-large items expected to be shipped directly overseas. More than 1.2 million Taobao and Tmall merchants will participate in cross-border growth this year.
