According to Huxiu, SNE Research data show Chinese suppliers dominate the global battery materials market in Q2 2026: 95.7% for negative electrodes, 91.5% for separators, and 89.2% for electrolytes. Korea’s shares are 1.9%, 2.7%, and 6.4%, with Japan also in the single digits. Outside China, demand for anodes grew nearly 30%, electrolytes nearly 40%, and separators over 40% in the first seven months, while overseas material demand increasingly flowed to Chinese suppliers; LG Energy Solution, SK On, and Samsung SDI together held 27.2% in that period.
