Alibaba DAMO Academy released the open-source medical imaging AI model DAMO RADAR, a general model for abdominal CT diagnosis that reportedly recognizes over 146 conditions and reaches expert-level accuracy. The model was developed with Zhejiang University School of Medicine First Affiliated Hospital and others, and has been published in Science and open-sourced.

Market regulators from seven provinces and the National Individual Industrial and Commercial Household Development Network signed a framework agreement with eight major digital platforms on September 17. The initiative aims to provide targeted support for individual businesses through digital empowerment, capacity building, and startup assistance.
