According to IT Home, OmniVision has released the OX08D30, an 8-megapixel automotive CMOS image sensor based on TheiaCel technology for exterior ADAS/AD cameras. The sensor features extended single-exposure dynamic range, LED flicker suppression, and pin-to-pin compatibility with the OX08D10, delivering high-quality HDR images with a farthest detection distance up to 200 meters, while reducing power by 20% and shrinking size by 50%; it uses a-CSP packaging and has entered production.
