Global shipments of true wireless stereo (TWS) earphones fell by 0.7% to 82.1 million units in the second quarter. Despite the market contraction, Apple maintained its leading position with modest year-over-year growth.
According to IT Home, Omdia said global AI glasses shipments reached 4.2 million in the first half of 2026, up 127% year over year. Meta accounted for 81.3% of the market with 3.4 million shipments; Even Realities held 2.4% and Alibaba 2.1%. Omdia noted China shipments rose 306% in 2026H1, while the Chinese market remains highly fragmented. Omdia's Jason Low emphasized tighter scrutiny over cameras in AI glasses and the need for clear disclosures of data use.
According to IT Home, Omdia reports that Mainland China PC shipments reached 11.4 million in Q2 2026, up 11% year-on-year. Laptops fell 2% to 7.1 million, while desktops jumped 42% to 4.3 million; consumer PCs declined 2%, and broad commercial PCs grew 29%. Omdia also forecast 2026 full-year shipments at 39.7 million, down 6%, with consumer down 10%, narrow commercial down 4%, and government & education up 16%.
