According to The Korea Times Business, beauty device and cosmetics developer APR earned ISO/IEC 42001 certification for its AI management system and Nemko’s AI Trust Mark for the reliability of its AI-assisted product, making APR the first beauty company to obtain both. The certifications cover APR’s AI governance framework, including 46 AI management documents across seven stages, and its integration with ISO 9001 and information security management practices. The AI Trust Mark was awarded for the AI Care Mode in the Medicube AGE-R Booster Pro X2 device, which analyzes users’ skin conditions and usage history to tailor care, using a hybrid design. The announcement was made at APR’s headquarters in Songpa District, Seoul, with Shin Jae-woo and Kwak Sam-geun pictured at the event.
