According to IT Home, Longi Green Energy announced in Europe on September 24 that its self-developed high-low temperature composite passivated back-contact (HIBC) cell achieved 28.29% efficiency, certified by the ISFH. This marks the third world crystalline silicon cell efficiency record set by Longi this year, following 28.04% and 28.13%, and the efficiency nears 96.2% of the theoretical limit, with more than 700W modules also showcased.
