Mitsubishi announces New Zealand pricing for the ASX VR-e electric SUV ahead of its late 2026 Australian launch

According to CarExpert, Mitsubishi Motors Australia has priced the new ASX VR-e in New Zealand from NZ$57,990 to NZ$72,990 before on-road costs, with the base price higher than the Kia EV3's and MG S5 EV's. The model is due for Australian release in Q4 2026 with local pricing yet to be announced, and Mitsubishi emphasises competitive value beyond price alone, as stated by MM Australia CEO Shunichi Kihara.
