Li Auto announced that newly ordered i9 Home models will fully adopt self-developed 5C ternary lithium batteries. The i9 Home is priced at 369,800 yuan with a six-seat flagship configuration. This marks a shift from initial supplier batteries to Li Auto’s in-house battery system as production scales.

Li Auto has begun an external supply plan for its in-house developed Mach chips, silicon carbide modules, and range extenders. The company is establishing independent business entities for these technologies to seek external customers and capital. While these components are being marketed to third parties, the company has no current plans to supply its self-developed batteries.

Li Auto launched the new MEGA priced at 50.98 million yuan.
