Flock Safety

According to Carscoops, cybersecurity researcher Joshua Michael published a map claiming to show about 300,000 Flock Safety devices using data from a publicly accessible access token, though the database includes many non-LPR devices and the numbers may not be apples-to-apples with Flock’s own claims. The map, hosted at FlockSurveillance.org, was detailed by The Intercept, and Michael says the data comes from a December 2025 snapshot and a token found on a public Flock website. The site’s creator notes the map is independent and not affiliated with Flock, and a trademark complaint followed the publication.
