According to 36Kr, TrendForce (IHS: TrendForce) announced that in September 2026, prices for TV, monitor, and laptop panels remained generally flat. Mid-September saw three major Chinese panel manufacturers issue price increase notices due to rising component costs, and they plan 3 to 7 days of capacity adjustments during the National Day holiday; the market expects TV panel prices to stay flat with pressure to move upward easing thereafter.

According to The Korea Times Business, Korea Eximbank's research center says the global semiconductor market is projected to exceed $1.6 trillion in 2026, with memory chips from Samsung Electronics and SK hynix expected to account for more than half as AI infrastructure investment rises. The report notes DRAM and NAND prices recently reached $25 and $30.5, respectively, and forecasts the market to reach about $2 trillion by 2030; it also mentions long-term supply agreements by big tech and positions the industry for continued momentum supported by AI growth.
