Eastern Suburbs District Rugby League Football Club, trading as the Sydney Roosters are an Australian professional rugby league football club based in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs. The club competes in the National Rugby League (NRL) competition. The Roosters have won fifteen New South Wales Rugby League (NSWRL) and National Rugby League titles, and several other competitions.

Daly Cherry-Evans is nearing the end of his NRL career, with his final NRL match possibly coming this Saturday’s Sydney Roosters–Cronulla semifinal. He will join Hull FC in the Super League next year, potentially playing against or with players two decades younger than him.
