According to Variety, former Cinecittà Studios chief Nicola Maccanico has been appointed CEO of Rome-based production company Colorado Film. The company is owned and operated by Italy’s Rainbow Group, which is led by Iginio Straffi, the creator of the “Winx Club” animation franchise.
