According to Carscoops, a memo seen by Reuters indicates F-150 production at the Dearborn Truck Plant has ended and isn’t scheduled to resume until September 29, with production at the Kansas City Assembly Plant also affected as some shifts were canceled. The Kentucky Truck Plant reportedly increased production to offset the slowdown, while the cause is described as a supply problem not tied to the aluminum shortage from a 2025 incident. The halt is estimated to impact about 3,500 to 4,000 workers, and 15 shifts at Kansas City have been canceled since the start of the month.
