According to CNBC Economy, Switzerland's central bank kept its key interest rate at 0% on Thursday, diverging from the tightening cycles seen in most major peers. Traders see a roughly 50-50 chance of a rate hike by December and more than a 90% chance of a hike by early 2027, while inflation remains low at 0.8% in August and the Swiss franc’s safe-haven status pressures imports lower.
