According to Huxiu, traditional luxury car dealers are closing flagship stores one after another, including Lixinghang shutting the largest Mercedes 4S store in Nanjing (Li Zhixing) and Meidong Auto closing the Tianjin Lexus store; Porsche plans to cut its China network by one-third by the end of 2026, from 120 to 80 stores. In H1 2026, Mercedes, BMW, Audi, and Porsche reported year-on-year sales declines of 28%, 20.4%, 19.3%, and 32%, respectively.
