However, the company lacks the domestic production qualification for plug‑in hybrids, so the new technology will only be deployed in overseas models for now. The firm is still applying for the necessary domestic licence, meaning it cannot sell plug‑in hybrids in China in the short term.

According to IT之家, Leapmotor released an OTA update for the A10 on September 19, adding six new features (including 360 rearview mirror adjustment entry and memory parking) and eight optimizations (such as City Navigation Assist and driving assistance voice prompts). The update targets several variants (403 Comfort, 403 Enjoy, 505 Enjoy, 505 LiDAR) and brings apps like Tencent Cloud Gaming and Mango TV, along with improvements to parking, charging information display, and ambient lighting rhythms. The article notes that the A10 was launched on March 26.
