According to CarExpert, Jaguar Land Rover unveiled three Defender Wolf Series II military variants—the Defender Utility Vehicle, the Tactical Mobility Vehicle, and the Mono‑Tactical Mobility Vehicle—at the British Army’s DVD 2026 defence show, with the Defender UV noted as the first single-cab pickup in the lineup. The vehicles are based on the D7x unibody platform, and JLR highlighted extensive testing and the Defender’s torsional rigidity of 29kNm/degree. The show took place at the Millbrook proving ground in Bedfordshire last week, and JLR indicated the range is the first of many Defender Wolf Series II variants to come for military use.
