According to The Korea Times Business, HS Hyosung Advanced Materials is showcasing carbon fiber products at CAMX 2026 in Atlanta, including 3K carbon fiber, 3K woven fabrics and drone composites, as the company aims to expand into aerospace, defense and drones. The three-day event features more than 500 participating companies and about 7,000 visitors are expected; HS Hyosung has participated in CAMX since its launch in 2014, and CEO Lim Jin-dal says the firm will provide differentiated carbon fiber solutions based on its high-performance technologies. The company began commercial production at its Jeonju plant in 2013, started production in China in 2024, and plans to begin operations in Vietnam in the second half of 2026, leveraging bases in Korea, China and Vietnam; it developed H3065 carbon fiber in 2022, becoming the third company globally to develop such a material.
