Goodman Group

According to CNA Business, Goodman Group has abandoned plans to build a A$1.2 billion, 90-megawatt data centre in Sydney’s Lane Cove, withdrawing the development application after local opposition and a lack of a social licence. The project would have been located about 20 metres from nearby homes, and the decision follows scrutiny of data centre environmental impact and community feedback.
