According to Le Monde Sport, Nicolas Batum announced his retirement from professional basketball in a video filmed partly with his son in Pont-l'Évêque (Calvados). The video recalls his eighteen years in the NBA and fifteen years with the French national team, and notes that he was the former captain of the Blues.
