According to IT Home, a Reddit user u/Zealousideal_View_12 claimed to use the Claude Opus 5.5 model to generate a real-time hardware-accelerated path tracer from zero in about one hour, with assistance from NVIDIA OptiX 9.1 and CUDA/Tensor cores. The report notes the program can write C++ and CUDA code libraries and references Wccftech’s view on accessibility for building a path tracer without advanced graphics API or shader expertise.
