Changan launched the Nevo Q06 SUV with a limited-time starting price of $20,140.

According to CarExpert, Chinese automaker Changan is introducing its premium Avatr brand to Australia with the large Avatr 07L electric SUV, with pre‑orders opening before the end of 2026 and deliveries slated for the first half of 2027. The 07L is a five‑seat, long‑wheelbase SUV built on an 800 V architecture, offering rear‑wheel‑drive and all‑wheel‑drive versions with up to 712 kW power and a CLTC range of 650–725 km. The vehicle features a 35.4‑inch digital display, Huawei‑sourced interior tech (to be replaced by Meridian in Australia), and a suite of advanced driver‑assistance sensors.

According to Huxiu, nine new car models were launched or opened for pre-sale across major brands in China on September 23, 2026, spanning from sub-100,000 yuan pure electric SUVs to near-400,000 yuan high-end MPVs. The models include Qijing GX7, Chang’an Qiyuan Q06, Denza Z9S, Zhiji LS6 EV, Geely Galaxy E5, Buick ZhiJing E7 Refresh, WEY Gaoshan Intelligent Edition, Great Wall Menglong PLUS LiHun Edition, and Jetour Traveler 7.
