Huawei, vivo, OPPO, Xiaomi, and Honor integrate the national earthquake warning system into their devices.

According to IT Home, Honor’s earthquake warning app has fully passed the technical assessment and connected to the China Earthquake Early Warning Network Center, with Huawei, vivo, OPPO, Xiaomi, and Honor all officially authorized to provide authoritative earthquake early warning services on mobile devices. The effort marks full coverage of mainstream domestic brands in the mobile terminal sector, and Huawei and vivo have surpassed 100 million users with the feature. IT Home notes that after the National Earthquake Early Warning Project’s completion in July 2024, the public service capacity has been rapidly advanced, with mobile terminals identified as a key access channel.
