HD Construction Equipment signs mutual sales partnership with Manitou Group to expand compact construction equipment sales and source equipment for global distribution

According to The Korea Times Business, HD Construction Equipment and Manitou Group signed a mutual sales partnership in Ancenis, France, to source compact equipment from Manitou and sell it globally under Hyundai and Develon, while Manitou will add HD’s compact equipment to its portfolio and market the products under Manitou and Gehl. The deal aims to expand both companies’ presence across 140 countries and reach 1.3 trillion won in compact equipment revenue by 2030, with 2025 global compact equipment sales around 400,000 units out of about 1.2 million construction machines and MarketsandMarkets projecting growth to 56.2 billion dollars by 2032 (5.1% CAGR) from 39.6 billion in 2025.
