Paramount Global, traded and commonly known as Paramount, was an American multinational mass media and entertainment conglomerate controlled by National Amusements and headquartered at One Astor Plaza in Times Square, Midtown Manhattan. It was formed on December 4, 2019, as ViacomCBS, through the merger of the second incarnations of Viacom and CBS Corporation, which were split from the original Viacom in 2005.

Paramount Pictures has announced a July 16, 2027 release date for the yet-to-be-titled Crawl sequel, directed by Alexandre Aja and starring Mason Gooding and Emily Rudd. The project is part of a slate that also includes Heart Eyes 2, which has shifted to February 4, 2028. The original Crawl (2019) earned close to $92 million worldwide, setting a precedent for the upcoming horror installment.
