Mercedes-AMG to unveil high-powered electric SUV in October
Mercedes-AMG announced the reveal of its first dedicated electric SUV, scheduled for October 17 during a 140th anniversary event at the Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart. The model, codenamed X591, is built on the AMG.EA platform and is described as a high-powered SUV variant of the AMG GT 4-Door Coupe. Early reports suggest a flagship version with up to 860 kW (approx. 1,169 hp) and 2,000 N·m torque, with 0-100 km/h in about 2.5 seconds.
