Hyosung Heavy Industries forms US joint venture for circuit breakers
Hyosung Heavy Industries' subsidiary Hyosung HICO signed an agreement with a Quanta Services subsidiary to establish a joint venture named Hyosung Hico Breaker in Pennsylvania. The venture will manufacture high-voltage gas circuit breakers ranging from 72.5 kilovolts to 800 kilovolts. Production is scheduled to begin at Quanta's Canonsburg facility as early as October.
