According to 36Kr, Li Chao, deputy director of the Policy Research Office at the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), stated at the September press briefing that the Beidou industry should exceed 1 trillion yuan in five years. He outlined a three-pronged plan focusing on top-level design, institutional safeguards, and open collaboration to drive Beidou growth and related technologies such as AI and satellite internet.
