Workers at AutoZone store in New York seek to unionize with United Auto Workers
According to The Guardian Business, workers at an AutoZone in White Plains, New York, are seeking to become the first store at the retailer to win a union election, with 11 eligible voters and voting set to begin on September 25. The Guardian reports that AutoZone has mounted a substantial opposition campaign, with LaborLab estimating the company spent about $200,000 to oppose the effort, tied to United Auto Workers Local 259.
